WE RECRUIT ON A NATIONWIDE BASIS FOR FOOD MANUFACTURING PROFESSIONALS Maintenance, Production, Quality, Safety, Human Resources Growing food processing company is seeking a PLANT ENGINEER for their facility in Iowa.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for: · Supervision of the maintenance department· Repair and maintenance of production equipment, buildings, and utilities in a particular plan· Managing and coordinating functions of plant maintenance and new installation in order to meet production needs at the lowest possible cost.
· This includes coordinating and motivating team members, supervising the parts department to maintain an adequate supply of parts without excess inventory, and overseeing the purchase of equipment, materials, and supplies.
· Supervision of line change overs and new equipment installations· Designing changes to equipment and production lines to better meet customer demand· Planning plant wide safety, sanitation, ergonomic, and USDA and OSHA programs.
· Serving on the Safety committee and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
REQUIREMENTS: · Education: Requires education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses.
· 6 + years experience in food plant production/processing facility.
