The International SAP program is a global project designed to accelerate the business transformation of the PepsiCo International organization, which represents one of the fastest growing divisions of PepsiCo.
The program is responsible for the design of the SAP solution in partnership with regionally based SAP teams around the world.
The SAP Basis Lead is a member of the PepsiCo International SAP Center of Excellence.
The incumbent will lead all SAP technical activities related to the PepsiCo International SAP project.
The candidate should be highly proficient with SAP EC
5. 0 and at least one other SAP component such as Netweaver 2004S (XI, BI, Portal), CR
5. 0, SCM 40 The position will be responsible for planning and executing, end to end, all installations and upgrade activities for the PepsiCo International business landscape.
Additional responsibilities include: -Technical administration, tuning and monitoring of the SAP systems.
-Provide technical leadership for managing the overall PepsiCo International SAP landscape.
-Provide technical support for the functional and project teams.
-Setup and maintenance of SAP transport management system (STMS).
-Planning and execution of support and enhancement packs.
-Provide support for all technical activities during project go-lives.
-Collaborate closely with infrastructure and DBA teams.
-Mentor and train off-shore and junior level staff members.
-Setup and maintain SAP bolt-ons and tools for archiving, imaging and faxing.
-7+ years of SAP Basis experience including implementation and support.
-Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
-Strong collaborative and facilitation skills.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Experience with Unix and Oracle.
-Ability to work in complex technical environment (3 data centers, 4 regional landscapes, multiple SAP components).
-Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities.
-Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the SAP technical infrastructureRequirements: 7+ years of SAP Basis experience including implementation and support.
-Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
-Strong collaborative and facilitation skills.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Experience with Unix and Oracle.
-Ability to work in complex technical environment (3 data centers, 4 regional landscapes, multiple SAP components).
-Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities.
-Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the SAP technical infrastructurePrevious experience in system administration (Unix or Win2K), DBA or computer programming/development highly desirable.
-Experience working with off-shore Basis support model.
-International travel required for this position.
Required Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's degree.SAP Basis certification highly desirable.
