DescriptionThe BI Planning Solutions Specialist will work closely with the COE Functional, Technical, PMO and local implementation teams to govern, document requirements, design and implement together the technical and functional components of SAP based planning solutions that are integrated or require the use of the SAP BI environment.

The planning solutions, that the BI Planning Solutions Specialist would be involved in would currently incompass APO and CRM/TPM integration and a future Financial Planning application.

The position is to ensure the proper integration points within the SAP BI planning components are setup and meet with the functional and technical requirements and insure the proven supported technologies are re-used wherever possible.

Most time would be spent interfacing with the COE Operations and Commerical functional teams.

The BI Planning Solutions Specialist will need to apply technical knowledge and experience of SAP BW-BPS and Integrated PlanningThe BI Planning Solutions Specialist would need to manage themselves with setting up appropriate activities on the project and provide the BI expertise to the functional, project and business team members within the COE, Divisions and Markets.The BI Planning Solutions Specialist will also work very closely with the COE BI SAP Solutions Architect to ensure the planning architecture designs and models adhere to the guidelines and standards of the project and would not cause performance or design issues with other areas within the SAP BI environment.

Additional responsibilities will include: - Support existing technologies within area of responsibility - Support problem corrections.

- Support the delivery of enhancements within area of responsibility.

- Support continuous improvement activities.

- Support programming and BI report developments as appropriate.

- Contributes to process and/or solution definition to the requirements and implementation - Develops problem solution statements and project estimates - Suggests alternatives - Minimize enhancement effort and push to leverage standard SAP functionality - Support technical requirements definitions for development activities as appropriate.

- Provide estimates of work required to implement solutions - As appropriate make approved changes to programs and applications in accordance with the design and development guidelines.

- Analyze code and patches and fixes as provided by software vendors.

- Ensure that test plans, procedures and results meet expectations.

- Perform unit testing of development - Be able to create and maintain documentation on provided solutions in forms of Business Process Procedures, Technical specifications, Unit/Integration Test Scripting and required change control documentation.

Team/Project Interaction - Provide support (as needed) to end users of the Data Warehouse as the SAP ECC template solution is rolled out to various markets.

This will include direct communication with the users through meetings, via email and telephone.

- Work as part of the Business Intelligence Team, providing support to other team members and processes teams as needed.

Must be self-motivated, organized and comfortable with aggressive goals and time lines.

- Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from the CoE, local market and development factory.

- Should display excellent partnering and facilitation Skills - Ability to push back/clarify business requirements for enhancements or customer development to allow for a simpler, more standard solution.

- As a member of the IT staff be able to communicate impacts to existing systems or processes.

- Part of at least three full-scale SAP BI implementations.

- Experience as a SAP BW-BPS / Integrated Planning developer,- with the use of FOX formulas, planning areas, layouts, - derivations and functions.

- Experience as a SAP Business Warehouse developer using- Administrator Workbench, Query Designer, BEX/Web Analyzer- and Web Application Designer.

- Knowledge of standard and custom InfoCubes, InfoObjects,- InfoSources and the DataStore Objects (DSO).

- Data Modeling Workbench and concepts such as Data - provisioning areas / EDW Administration to include process- chains, broadcasting, remodeling, repartitioning - ABAP coding and debugging is a plus.

- Broad understanding of end to end planning scenerios from- sales / promotional planning, demand planning to financial - planning a plus.

- 4 to 6 of SAP BI Experience- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
