The International SAP program is a global project designed to accelerate the business transformation of the PepsiCo International organization, which represents one of the fastest growing divisions of PepsiCo.
The program is responsible for the design of the SAP solution in partnership with regionally based SAP teams around the world.
The SAP BI/PORTAL Administrator is a member of the PepsiCo International SAP Center of Excellence.
The incumbent will lead all SAP BI/PORTAL technical activities related to the PepsiCo International SAP project.
The candidate should be highly proficient with SAP BI/PORTAL, Netweaver 2004S and at least one other SAP component such as EC

5. 0 or SCM 40 The position will be responsible for planning and executing all installations and upgrade activities for the PepsiCo International BI/PORTAL systems.
Additional responsibilities include: - Technical administration, tuning and monitoring of the SAP BI/PORTAL systems.
- Provide technical support for the functional and project teams.
- Setup and maintenance of the SAP ABAP (STMS) and Java transport management system.
- Provide support for all technical activities during project go-lives.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and DBA teams.
- Cross train team members and off-shore production support teamsRequirements: - 6+ years of SAP Basis experience including implementation and support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
- Experience with Unix and Oracle.
- Ability to work in complex technical environment (3 data centers, 4 regional landscapes, multiple SAP components).
- Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities.
- Previous experience in system administration (Unix or Win2K), DBA or computer programming/development highly desirable.
- Experience working with off-shore Basis support model.
- This position will be located in the Chicago, IL project office.
- Up to 15% International travel may be required for this position.
- Required Qualifications: - Minimum: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
