PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT II - Full-time, Outpatient Job in Somerville 02143
Cambridge Health Alliance is a nationally recognized, award-winning health care system that serves the residents of Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro-North region.
It is comprised of The Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, Whidden Memorial Hospital, the Cambridge Public Health Department, more than 20 primary care practices and Network Health - a statewide managed Medicaid health plan.
Go where the Pros go and work with the Sports Medicine Team for the Boston Breakers Women's Soccer and Boston Blazers Lacrosse Teams.
The CHA Rehabilitation team has experts who help people recover from bone, muscle, and joint injuries and other health conditions.
Our staff includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, and others.
Outpatient services are found at the Occupational Health and Orthopaedics Center in Somerville's Assembly Square and at the Whidden Hospital campus in Everett.
Both sites offer an expert staff and state-of-the art equipment.
Inpatient services are also provided by skilled rehab professionals at our hospital campuses.
In accordance with Cambridge Health Alliance policies and procedures, and APTA guidelines and code of ethics, this employee treats in large dynamic outpatient facility in Somerville.
Patient population is primarily musculoskeletal with focus on Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics, Occupational Health and diverse patient diagnoses.
Employee participates in performance improvement program, inservice program and student program.
Completes all documentation and administrative duties appropriately.
