PC and Mac Support Manager Job in Richmond 23233, Virginia US
Desktop Support ManagerProvide accurate solutions to end-users computer and networking problems.
Perform maintenance and recovery actions either remotely or at the end users location to resolve problemsMaintain accurate problem resolution information within the tracking system.
Provide technical expertise to resolve computer software, hardware, and peripheral equipment issues.
Assist with the administration of computer security policies.
Maintains and updates helpdesk tickets, move-add-change-requests, and daily reports.
Perform end user move-add-change requests.
Provide and coordinate warranty and non-warranty technical assistance for hardware and software for 3rd party vendor repair and follow-up.
Skills/Education required: Must have experience with MAC Server and MAC mini.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to leverage troubleshooting and analysis skills.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Experience within the IT industry, required.
Education 4 year degree in IT related course of study or equivalent work related experience.
Functional knowledge of PC technologies and networks, Windows operating systems, XP or newer systems, IP based networks, Microsoft Office products and peripheral equipment (printers, scanners).
A+ certification, Microsoft, Project Implementation, preferred
