PC Specialist/Computer Technician Job in Memphis 38103, Tennessee US
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz has an immediate opening for a PC Technician in the Memphis office.
Qualified candidates must have appropriate skills and experience in equipment and software installation, configuration and basic repairs and upgrades.
Candidate also must have knowledge or experience of computer operating systems and network systems.
Experience with common PC software used by the Firm, generally Microsoft is also required.
Primary responsibilities will include: Loading software onto computersUse 'Imaging' software to configure computersMake copies of software for backup and distribution purpose eg ReporterMaintenance of computers and peripheralsMaintain and clean computers and peripheral devices on a regular basisOrder and distribute consumable supplies for peripherals.
Undertake computer repairs and maintenance promptly.
Maintain accurate, complete, and up to date inventory records detailing all microcomputers and microcomputer printers owned by the firm.
Maintain all computer desktops to look the same where possibleEnsure all computers have a standard suite of programs (excluding specialist programs)Office/Equipment movesTechnical SupportInstall computers and peripheral devices where required Provide second level support to Technical Support CenterPeripheralsSet up and maintain Treo and Blackberry devicesMaintain Video conference equipment (including conference setups)Maintain VCR/DVD camcorder equipmentBaker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz, PC is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment and all employees are treated during employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
