Outside Sales Job in Midland, Texas US
A leader in providing emission solutions to industrial engine customers in the Western Hemisphere is currently seeking an experienced salesperson to plan and carryout all sales activities on assigned accounts in Midland / Odessa, TX and the surrounding areas.
Qualified individuals will be responsible for: · developing and maintaining a customer database · generate and qualify leads · prepare sales action plans and schedules · develop and maintain sales and promotional materials; · plan and conduct direct marketing activities · make sales calls to new (prospecting) and existing clients· Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to: · Negotiate with clients as well as develop sales proposals and present sales contracts.
· Maintain sales activity records and reports.
· Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or in person.
· Execute time and Territory management for optimized customer visits· Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships· Follow up on sales activity.
· Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
· Participate in sales events and trade shows.
This position requires three years of successful field sales and engine knowledge while relevance to emissions experience is preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate an interest in mechanical devices - preferably reciprocating engines; have excellent presentation and communication skills with a proven ability to work within a team environment.
Base Salary plus unlimited potential commission based on experience.
