Work for a Dynamic Financial Institution!Provide technical and business support for the production systems of assigned business units, to include working with vendors to resolve all business software and operational issues with production systems.

Help define business requirements and develop technical requirements for system replacement or enhancements.

Provide business and system support for in-house developed applications or third-party applications used by assigned business units (Collateral Services, Collateral Operations, and Collateral Risk Management and Portfolio Management Departments).

Work directly with user departments to assess and document business requirements.

Generate specifications to design, code, test, and implement various application programs that support the banks business processes and objectives.

This includes coordination of changes that have a cross-functional impact on other business units.

Independently diagnose and resolve complex application system problems.

Install, implement, and support vendor packages and develop enhancements.

Develop a thorough understanding of the business processes and information processing requirements of assigned user departments.

Perform feasibility analysis and cost/benefit studies for the purpose of identifying solutions to information processing requirements.

Includes the evaluation and recommendation of software packages and/or custom solutions.

Required ExperienceBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education, required4 to 6 years of computer systems experience involving installing, supporting, diagnosing, and developing functional and technical specifications for wholesale banking systems (vendor or in-house) enhancements in a highly regulated financial services (preferably banking) environmentDemonstrated experience with the following: Programming using PowerBuilder (version 7 and newer), Oracle PL/SQL, .NET development using WebForms and WinForms (preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to apply sound standards and policies while considering business needs and justifiable exceptionsRequired Skills.
