Oracle OBIEE Developer/Analyst Job in New York City 10116, New York US
Primary Skills: Oracle OBIEE (4+ years)# of Years Required: 6-8Secondary Skills: J2EE Platform# of Years Required: 4-6Job Purpose/ Description: Asset Management IT is looking for a motivated and talented Senior Developer/Technical Analyst for a challenging role in their real estate roadmap program.
The candidate must be capable of performing the following functions: - Lead complex/major efforts involving the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and/or application components.
- Hands on development, capable of debugging the system and fixing the production related issues.
- Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions.
- Recommends solutions that are aligned with business/IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards.
- Resolves complex application and technical problems.
- May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies; Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
- Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
- Ability to lead technical project teams.
- Performs software architecture and systems design.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Experience in financial service industry with good knowledge of investment management is a mustExcellent problem solving abilitiesStrong Business intelligence experience using OBIEE is mandatory.
Expertise in Datawarehousing and Dimensional ModelingExperience with Oracle OLAP, Data Integration and Data Quality tools is a big plus.
Experience with JAVA/J2EE is a big plusExperience with SQL Server is a big plusExperience with real estate and mortgages are a HEAVY PLUS.
Candidate must posses strong work ethics, should be a self starter and must posses strong written and oral skills.US Citizen or possess a Green Card.
Required education/experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
10 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development.
Serves as point of escalation for complex issues.
Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
