Oracle DBA - Performance Tuning - 1 month role Job in Chicago, Illinois US
Oracle DBA - Performance Tuning * September 6th through October 1st * Location is Chicago, IL. Backgrond Check is required.
Performance Testing and Methodologies ; Oracle Database Replay ; Oracle IO tuning ; Iteratative SQL Tuning1.
Assist customer to define up to ten (10) unique and representative test cases for its targeted SQL/workload defined in the Phase I above
2. Assist customer to configure and prepare its targeted Oracle Enterprise Manager (*OEM*) test environment for Oracle database replay and capture
3. Participate in relevant database performance or SQL/workload tests for purposes of assessing and validating potential production changes into customers TSS PWS and RE environments leveraging the OEM toolset and Oracle database replay feature
4. Assist customer to interpret and analyze test results of pre-determined SQL/workload replays to understand gain/loss impacts for customers Oracle 102 to Oracle 11g upgrade on customers PWS and RE environments; an
5. Review and analyze customers existing Oracle datafile layout hosted on its designated filesystem for customers PWS and RE Oracle database environments against Oracle practices
