Job Description The CDH App DBA will be responsible for designing and implementing Oracle Customer Data Hub (CDH) Release 12 on Oracle 10g RAC database platform.You will work closely with developers and business partners to ensure the sound development and implementation of the software solutions, both custom and packaged.

This role will be integral in the design, build and test phases of the implementation life cycle.

You will be expected to facilitate resolution of conflicts that arise during the development lifecycle through effective partnership with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities ‚¿ Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine required software improvements and modifications‚¿ Continuously improve on technology implementation methodology‚¿ Become familiar with the products and architecture of Oracle E-Business R12 environment and current Back Office Systems solutions‚¿ Provide technical expertise and guidance to business partners in the process of evaluating, scoping and designing an implementation strategy ‚¿ Ensure solutions conform to current industry standards as well as to company's internal guidelines and standards‚¿ Identify the hardware and software components an application will use for implementation and provide guidance on how to appropriately implement application components‚¿ Maintain and support shared services and multiple modules of Oracle E-Business R12 environments‚¿ Support full development lifecycle of implementing Oracle Financial R12‚¿ Collaborate with architects, infrastructure team, DBAs, technical leads, developers and business to ensure technical integrity of end-to-end solutions‚¿ Prepare and/or review of Architecture and Technical Design documents‚¿ Maintain availability of the production system and all supporting systems including development, patching and testing environments.

‚¿ Schedule, test and coordinate patches to the Application Tier in the Development, Test and Production environments ‚¿ Configure and maintain Application tier to ensure availability of forms, reports and presentation layer of the Oracle Applications ‚¿ Clone environments to support development or when required to replicate and test fix for a production problem ‚¿ Monitor and request scheduled Application backups and perform Application recoveries ‚¿ On-going tuning of Applications and Databases‚¿ Request and coordinate changes to the Application Tier and Database Tier through change management and code migration process‚¿ Coordinate changes to underlying infrastructure (ie.

Operating system patches) ‚¿ Perform Database recoveries when needed‚¿ Perform daily database maintenance activities ‚¿ Upgrade Technology executables and coordinate compatibility with Technical System and Hardware Administrator ‚¿ Perform long-term capacity planning ‚¿ Customize menus and responsibilities, change profile options and manage other sysadmin functions within Oracle application‚¿ Install and manage required Oracle SOA components‚¿ Install, configure and manage Single Sign-on process through Oracle application.

Qualifications ‚¿ 10 years of Oracle DBA and support experience with Oracle Financials 11i (11510) and above.

R12 experience is preferred‚¿ 5 Years of production support experience with Oracle RAC 9i/10g, Certified Oracle Professional is preferred‚¿ 5 Years of Oracle application architecture and Oracle application integration experience‚¿ 5 Years of Oracle application code migration product.

STAT/Oracle E-Business is preferred‚¿ Certified System administrator on Unix and Windows platforms preferred‚¿ Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture‚¿ Working knowledge of Oracle Identity Management product‚¿ Experience with RMAN and cloning Oracle Application environments, knowledge or NetApp storage is preferred‚¿ Familiar with data quality principles and analysis‚¿ Practical experience in implementing projects in SDLC and RUP or equivalent methods‚¿ Knowledge of Hyperion install set and configuration ‚¿ Ability to read, write and manipulate SQL as well as Unix shell scripting.

‚¿ Ability to document and follow policies and procedures ‚¿ Requires a bachelor's degree in computer system or related area.
