Operator - Wastewater/Operations/Maintenance 52-56 K/yr Job in Albany 31701, Georgia US
Well established client located in south Georgia has an immediate need for Wastewater Operators.
Wastewater Operator's License is highly preferred.
This is an hourly position with night shift assignments available.
Overtime pay is available.
No relocation pay is available so only local candidates or those willing to relocate on their own should apply.
ResponsibilitiesTechnical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater treatment facilities and systemsMonitor equipment, gauges and charts Record data related to water qualityRepair damage to equipmentOperate pumps and valves to control the treatment processRequirements3 - 5 years experience operating and/or maintaining a wastewater treatment facilityExperience working with equipment, gauges, and chartsExperience with pumps and valves to control the treatment processWastewater Operator's License is highly preferredBenefitsEligible for a pay increase after 3-6 month probationary periodBenefits and overtime pay availableQuestions you will be asked: • Briefly summarize your wastewater treatment facility maintenance experience.
