Occupational Therapist Job in Clinton 01510, Massachusetts US
Clinton Hospital Department: Occupational Therapy Job Title: Occupational Therapists Hours per week: Per Diem (as needed)Shift: Days/Weekends Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT school.
Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.
AOTCB Certification.
Position Description: Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for physically, cognitively, developmentally, and/or functionally disabled patients.
Utilizes individualized treatment plans designed to restore, remediate or compensate for loses in physical, perceptual, sensory neuromuscular, sensory interactive, cognitive and psychosocial skills.
Fabricates orthotics and adaptive equipment, employs physical agent modalities according to training/education and current competencies.
Educates patient, family, and other caregivers in therapy programs and goals.
About Clinton Hospital: Founded in 1889, Clinton Hospital is a 41-bed, community hospital serving the towns of Clinton, Lancaster, Sterling, Berlin, Bolton, Boylston and surrounding communities.
The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient medical/surgical, day surgery, diagnostic imaging, medical laboratory, physical therapy and pulmonary testing.
A 20-bed geriatric medical psychiatry program is widely noted for the care it provides to elderly patients suffering from medical and psychiatric problems.
An addition to the hospital, built in 1999, houses Women's Health Services, the Ambulatory Care Unit and Operating Rooms.
Clinton Hospital is a member of UMass Memorial Health Care, offering patients access to the advanced resources of the region's leading academic medical center.
The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is designated a Primary Stroke Service by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
