OCS Engineer Job in Washington 20043, District of Columbia US
**Because this position is in direct support of the US Government, the ability to obtain a US DHS Security Clearance is required.
**TEKsystmes has partnered with a System integrator to identify a Sr. OCS Engineer SME for a 6 month to permanent engagement located in Washington DC. It is with Department of Homeland Security and the purpose of the position is to bring all communication tools of sub-agencies of DHS together for a unified way of communication that DHS can use moving forward.
Ideal candidate will also be processed for DHS clearance.
The role will have a direct responsibility in the Architecture and Engineering elements of the OCS project.
They will be responsible to ensuring the project scope and requirements are met by the final architecture and engineering designs.
The SME will be responsible for completing the necessary documentation required part of the project IT Risk assessment.
Solid documentation skills are a must.
Solid understanding of security and risk implications of an OCS platform.
Requirements: - Overall 5+ years of experience in IT industry(2 years in OCS; 5 years in A/D and Exchange)- Experience with Instant Messaging & Conference Tools- Ability to work independently in a large scale/enterprise-level projects- Ability to travel (20%)Desired: Certifications: MCSE, CCA, CCIE, CCNA, etc Required Skills: Office Communications Server, MICROSOFT EXCHANGE, Active directoryJoin TEKsystems® and get your career on the fast track.
