This position is responsible for directing the provision of nursing care on an assigned patient care unit on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis.
Responsibilities: Supervising and monitoring professional and non-professional staff Ensuring effective, safe and therapeutic nursing services meet established Hospital and accrediting agency regulations and guidelines Managing the assignment and coordination of duties of unit personnel based on patient care needs, available staff, and unit needs Ensuring that the unit delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, professional standards, regulatory licensure, and accrediting bodies Effective fiscal management to make certain efficient utilization of Medical Center financial and material resourcesRequirements: Bachelors degree in nursing or closely related field, MS is strongly preferred 3 5 years of leadership and related clinical experience Current state licensure as Registered Nurse Annual Certification in CPR is requiredWe listen to our employees and understand the importance of providing excellent benefits that top what the industry can provide.
