Non-Profit Auditor Job in Detroit, Michigan US
Our client, a large independent public accounting firm, has asked us to assist them in locating an Auditor with solid audit experience in the non-profit industry.
The ideal candidate will also be well-organized with strong computer and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and A-133 audit exposure.Job Responsibilities: Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy Keeping abreast of all industry developments and ensuring professional development through ongoing education Anticipating and addressing client concerns, and escalating problems as they arise Recognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clientsThe ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 2+ years experience in Public Accounting Solid understanding of audit and attest services General knowledge of FASB regulations, GAAS, GAAP, and A-133 CPA highly preferred Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Experience or interest in working with health care or exempt organizationsWe encourage all interested and qualified candidates to submit their resume or call for further information.
