Network Security Engineer Job in West Point 31833, Georgia US
TEKsystems has partnered with large client in the West Point, GA area to employ a Sr. Network Security Engineer to lead a large initiative to increase their internal corporate security.The responsibilities of the candidates will be to maintain the integrity, availability, and privacy of the company's corporate and customer networks.
This person will work closely with network, systems, and application development teams to ensure operating environments meet security requirement.
Specific responsibilities include: - design, deploy, and manager company security infrastructure, including AAA, testing, and monitoring systems- execute security design reviews of new systems and products- create and implement security policies and procedures- implement technical safeguards to minimize theft of services in an HFC plant- enhance security controls and fraud detection in the organization's VoIP infrastructure- design and conduct / coordinate security audits, risk assessments, and pen tests- develop and implement incident response procedures- assess security compliance with relevant regulatory requirements- coordinate security efforts with legal, physical security, and other teams throughout the organization.
CISSP is preferred along with prior telecommunication experience.
Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX and PCI-DSS) is also preferred.
25% travel is required as well.
