Network Engineer Job in Portsmouth 02871, Rhode Island US
Technical Skills:
Minimum 4 years experience in analysis, hardware configurations, network implementations and network troubleshooting of a large enterprise environment.
Solid foundation of network design from the LAN through the WAN.
Required knowledge of network product lines from Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks.
Experienced in Cisco routers, switches and VPN Concentrators; Point-to-Point and Frame Relay Circuits; TCP/IP troubleshooting & problem analysis; and OSPF, RIP, BGP, and EIGRP Routing Protocols.
Knowledge and understanding of firewall functionality.
Experience with or knowledge of Data Center infrastructures.
Experience in DoD programs supporting network infrastructure.
VoIP experience.
Secret Clearance.
Cisco Certifications.
College degree and or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
Experienced in being a key resource on a network team resolving critical customer issues.
Experienced in providing solutions, meeting business needs with technology solution.
Experienced in providing technical support and resolutions in LAN/WAN network outages and projects.
Experienced mentoring and sharing knowledge with other team members.
Soft Skills:
Take charge personality with the ability to change direction when needed.
Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written skills.

Must be able to follow directions.
Adaptable to work with different personalities.
Strong leadership skills.
