Network Engineer - Telecommunications Job in Anniston 36207, Alabama US
Precision Resources is currently assisting a client with their search for an experienced (specialized) Network Engineer to ensure the ongoing operation of their IVR infrastructure and associated applications.
Responsibilities will include: Performing periodic system health checks and any remedial actions that might be indicated.
Perform routine maintenance procedures on the file system, database, and IVR software.
Install and configure software updates.
Administer user accounts and access privileges.
Develop, test, and maintain VoiceXML applications.
Generate reports based on operational data.
Qualified candidates will need a minimum of: Five years experience in a system administration, operations or developer role.
Working knowledge of: Red Hat Linux IP Networking Oracle Databases Apache Web Server SNMPUnderstanding of fundamental concepts including VoIP and SIP. Experience with VoiceXML and IVR Systems is highly desirable.
