National Client Banking Manager Job in Orange, California US
National Client Banking manager Based in Parsippany, New Jersey, York Insurance Services Group, Inc. is a leading provider of specialty claims management services to niche market segments of the property, casualty, and workers compensation industries throughout the United States.
The Company provides comprehensive claims, data, and risk related services to specialty programs, public entities, self-insured entities, insurance carriers, state entities and related intermediaries.
The Client Banking Manager is a newly created position in Orange, CA responsible for all client accounting functions for York nationally.
Leadership and interpersonal skills are critical as the position will require direct client interaction and supervision of 8 10 direct reports.
The ideal candidate will have a four year accounting/finance degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in banking and treasury.
Position Summary: Oversee all disbursements and deposits including checks, FTEs, wire transfers, journal entries, other transactions.
Ensure timely and coordinated funding and management of account balances prior to check issuances Responsive coordination with business units and cross functional teams handling time sensitive transactionsMaintaining, measuring and controlling the standard operating procedures for: ˜ Check processing˜ Voids, recoveries, stop pays, cancels˜ Vendor management˜ 1099s˜ Stale dated checks/Abandoned property˜ Changes & Corrections˜ Database of all bank accounts, signatories, account revisions and documentation˜ Opening accounts--including working with general counsel to obtain proper documentation˜ Oversight of rosters of authorized signators˜ Review, develop, implement, oversee and update security procedures and safeguardsInterface with Clients on delivering accurate, consistent and timely reporting of all banking activitiesReview and improve deadline driven month end proceduresRelationship development and management with various banking institutions, for single state and multi-state clientsEngage in integrations with newly acquired clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions Ideal Experience: · Industry Experience.
Multiple years of demonstrated success within working with banking/trust accounting industry.
Experience in the insurance industry a strong plus.
· Operational Experience.
The person shall have managed operations with multiple direct reports.
Should demonstrate leadership experience in operating in a matrix management structure.
· Complex Problem Solver.
Comfortable in a complex, ever changing business environment requiring flexibility and intellectual facility in problem solving to address customer issues.
· Integration Experience.
An executive who has led a business through growth and managed operational integration.
Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting/FinanceBroad understanding of core accounting principles 5+ years experience in Banking/Client Services.
