N/C Programmer Job in Charleston, South Carolina US
JOB DUTIES: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
Works under general direction.
Automated machine programming supporting the facility.
This is MODEL BASED programming.
Catia V5, Enovia and IVT experience a plus.
Knowledge of NC programming methods from model based definition desired, data export, program posting, program release, and quality approval required.
Interfacing with Mfg. Eng., design, and production for build package requirements and COA of assemblies.
Ensures programs comply with process specifications and PCDs.
Define capabilities of NC equipment to drive efficient processes Familiarity with assembly drill process and Encapta (Syncrofit) desired.
Previous Brotje experience a plus.
Knowledge of MS Access, sequel server databases, and Visual Basic desired.JOB SKILLS: CATIA V5EnoviaIVT
