The Mergis Group is seeking qualified Mortgage Loan Underwriters to work a full time position with our client in the East Providence, RI area.Job Description: The primary function of the Underwriter is to ensure the timely and accurate review and approval of all loans originated by loan officers and processorsResponsibilities include: Must have previous underwriting experience including FHA and VA government loans! Qualifications: Previous Mortgage Underwriting Experience - Minimum 2 years RequiredFHA and VA experienceHigh School Degree or equivalent - RequiredMortgage Industry Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience in high volume environmentWork Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday******Must be available to work overtime*********
