Mobile UI Designer Job in Salt Lake City 84130, Utah US
Teksystems has a client that is in the process of making their web sites compliant for Mobile Web Browsing.
This is a large undertaking as they operate in a number of different countries.
They would like to find a UI Developer that is familiar with standards for different mobile browsers and service providers.
For example AT&T may have a different format than T-Mobile and you may have differences between iPhones and Blackberrys.
Key Duties: +Developing functionality for the web sites to detect mobile devices+Reformat the existing sites to work with various smartphones and service providers Required Experience: +2-3 years of experience of User Interface Design in the Mobile Web Device industry+Strong understanding of US and foreign mobile browsing service provider standards (should have experience doing this in the US and at least one foreign market)+Strong understanding of browsing standards for different smartphones including Blackberrys, iPhones, Google Phones, Windows Mobile, etc.+Experience with Asian and European markets is preferred+Understanding of mobile standards is more important that UI experienceDuration: Our client expects this contract to last a few months with a chance to extend.
