Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations and manufacturing support, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Have experience control systems and software to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Duties & Responsibilities1.
Maintain, troubleshoot and restore proper operation of automated production equipment2 Perform mechanical and electronic preventive maintenance3 Maintain communication with production supervision and support staff regarding the status and capabilities of the equipment4 Enter data in spreadsheets and text files5 Assist Engineers and Support Staff on special projects6 Stay aware of product/process trends.
Experience: Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of Automations and Assembly equipment experience.
Additional experience with Allen Bradley PLC's or other control software, would be a tremendous plus.
Education: Associate's degree in Electro-mechanical or Electronics and/or 4 years of military training experience in electronics.
