At New England Rehabilitation Hospital, we have 168 beds for our inpatient acute care services, a 22 bed inpatient acute rehab unit in Lowell, and a 20 bed inpatient acute rehab unit in Danvers.
Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator - Part time (24 hours) We are currently accepting applications for our Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator role.
In this position, the Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and completing the Hospital's medical staff credentialing and recredentialing process, including primary source verification of credentials.
The primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: maintenance of the Master Copy of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations while maintaining compliance with all requirements, maintains current knowledge of Federal and State Laws & Requirements for physician practice & licensing, maintain current knowledge of Joint Commission regulatory standards regarding credentialing & priviliging, obtaining current licensure and malpractice insurance, verifying physician education, training and competence information and submits initial/reappointment applications to Medical Executive Committee as well as maintains a record of all governing body decisions regarding physician status and will also be responsible for coding and billing audits and preparation of medical records for PAI coding and billing audits.
