The Medical Data Analyst is responsible for ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources, including patient care, and demographic data.

Work involves the ability to analyze health care data and includes review of patient medical records in effort to identify like patients based on demographics and clinical history.

Government contract may require person to possess proof of US citizenship Knowledge: Requires proficiency with analytical tools (SAS, Excel), knowledge of data analysis methodology, Knowledge of presentation software, Knowledge of the research methods and procedures used in conducting medical data analysis; Knowledge of the application of automated information systems in meeting medical data reporting requirements; Familiarity with program planning and evaluation techniques; Knowledge and experience in use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and database software; Experience/ working knowledge of Department of Defense Clinical Health Care Systems eg AHLTA, CHCS desired Familiarity with database principles and SQL desired Abilities: Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent critical thinking skills Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals Strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service.

Ability to compile, analyze and interpret medical data; Ability to deliver sound judgment, initiative, accuracy and thoroughness; Ability to work well with medical professionals; Clearance: Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
