Medical Claims Follow-up and Collections Job in Houston 77056, Texas US
Job Description: The market has seemed to take a turn for the better and I am currently working with a leading healthcare provider with an urgent need for 7 Medical Claims/Collections positions and a Medical Cash Application position for immediate interviews!!! These roles are all temp-to-hire and will start between $14-16/hr.
- Senior A/R Specialist is responsible for follow up of priority accounts, including all payors, as well as complete resolution of denials.
- This position will be responsible for communicating with carriers, patients, other facilities, and management of all levels as needed to get maximum payment/resolution on accounts and identify and resolve issues or changes to achieve client profitability.Job Experience: - 3+ years experience with medical collections (AR Revenue Cycle) - Knowledge of various payor groups (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers Comp, etc) - Ability to work in high production work environment - Dependability/Reliability - Intermediate Excel SkillsMinimum Education Required: High SchoolYears of Experience Required: 3-5 YearsExpected Travel Time: NoneThis company may offer relocation assistance.
