Medical Assistant Job in Las Vegas 89121, Nevada US

Position Summary Essential Responsibilities · Document and QC documentation of all study activities as assigned.
· Perform rapid succession EKGs.
· Obtain vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration and temperature.
· Perform drug, alcohol and pregnancy testing using test kits.
· Observe collection of specimens for drug and alcohol testing.
· Obtain supplies needed to perform all assignments.
· Observe participant behavior during all phases of study activity and communicate pertinent observations to a Study Manager or Research Associate.
· Report any adverse event (AE) to the Study Manager or Research Associate.
· Serve meals to study participants and maintain cleanliness of kitchen.
· Assist in maintaining cleanliness of recreation and dormitory areas.
· Perform service-orientated duties in relation to participant needs.
· Provide support to Study Manager or Research Associate during all phases of study progression.
· Cross-train for other departments as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent.
One year certificate from college or technical school, or three months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings and weekends as required.
Licensing/Certification Requirements · Current CPR certification is required.
