Medical Assistant - MA Job in San Diego, California US
Location Floating position to Chula Vista and Otay Ranch Hours 8-hour shift; starting times vary from 7:30/8:00/8:30, some overtime, no weekends Qualifications Medical Assistant Certified required Current CPR certified required.
Primary Care experience preferred Two plus years as a Medical Assistant required Basic computer skills required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Internal Medicine experience preferred, Pediatrics a plus Summary This candidate must have very good communication skills, able to take instructions, be flexible as well as a team player and be able to multi-task, be very organized and provide excellent patient satisfaction.
Must be able to keep up with fast paced practices, assisting primary as well as specialty department providers with patients, working independently with phone calls and our Electronic Medical Record.
Physical Requirements Push/Pull wheelchairs, transfer patients to exam room tables and able to sit/stand throughout the day as required.
Give multiple injections during each shift.
