Media Planner- Optimedia Job in Dallas, Texas US
Optimedia, Dallas TX is looking for a talented media planner to join their team! Communications Planning GroupCommunications Planner Overview: Develop and implement plans for client accounts across all types of media.
Responsibilities: · Assures accuracy of media documentation ie contracts, avail requests, make-good approvals, cost estimates, post buy analysis and variance reconciliations.
· Presents media plans and provide plan maintenance · Prepares flowcharts and budgets for media plan using Excel, PowerPoint and planning-specific software · Monitors performance of all media and develops rationale explaining results for clients · Provides research for and write media Point-of-Views.
Provide recommendations considering circulation, audience information, and product usage information to determine appropriate choices.
· Maintains close contact with media representatives to keep abreast of current data pertaining to their properties and the markets they serve.
Requirements: · Bachelors degree required with related coursework · 2+ years national/local TV media planning experience · Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills · Detail-oriented, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment · Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, media planning tools
