Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer Job in Chicago 60605, Illinois US
We are WMA Consulting Engineers, Ltd., is a Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing-Fire Protection systems design firm located in the Chicago south-loop area.
We work with the major architects and campus-owners in the region; our projects are located largely in the mid-west region, but also can be national or international.
Our practice involves designing engineering systems for commercial, educational, high-rise residential, multi-use, medical-healthcare and similar new and renovated buildings.
We have been in business since 1966.
We are seeking two experienced HVAC Design Engineers.
Position involves designing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for client projects; project management experience a plus.
Seeking graduate mechanical or architectural engineers with five-to-fifteen years experience in the MEP field.
Need not be licensed but PEs preferred.
Require hands-on experience with Autocad2008 or later versions; AutocadMEP2008 and Revit experience are pluses.
Position is located at our Chicago headquarters just south of the loop.
Salaries are competitive with major Midwest firms, depending on experience, plus overtime after 40 hours, including excellent company-paid benefits.
