Mechanical Engineer III Job in Kwajalein 35801, Hawaii US
Opportunity at the Reagan Test Site (RTS) located in the exotic and tropical island of Kwajalein in the Republic of Marshall Islands.
Reagan Test Site (RTS) complex includes a variety of radar, telemetry, and other instrumentation and communication systems.
This location is a beautiful, tropical setting in the central Pacific that offers year-round water sports and many other recreational activities.
Kwajalein is similar to most American communities with schools, hospital, stores and all public works.
Crime is virtually non-existent and so is traffic, private automobiles are not authorized and bicycles are the primary mode of transportation.

JOB DUTIES: Develops complete engineering construction documents and specifications in HVAC, plumbing, POL related projects.
Prepares performance specification drawings and regulatory specifications related to Fire safety, OSHA and ES&H parameters.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Required: Ability to design and manage the planning, cost estimating, design, BOM and scheduling of a project.
Ability to work withiin a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently.
Strong knowledge in design relevant to mechanical, plumbing, POL and occupancy classifications for fire protection Desired: EXPERIENCE (Years): Required: 4-10 years experience in the field of mechanical engineering.
Professional knowledge of a broad range of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and practices and familiar with other engineering disciplines.
NFPA knowledge.
Desired: Valid PE license EDUCATION: Required: Baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4 year university.
Desired: OTHER SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: · US Citizen or approval to work in the US
