Mechanical Designer Job in Baltimore 21211, Maryland US
Aeroteks client are looking for a design engineer in the greater Baltimore area.
Must have 0 - 5 years experience to qualify for this opportunity.
This individual will work in conjunction with other designers and directly with manufacturing employees for the purpose of fabricating drying & conveying equipment, as well as plant layout schematics for installation purposes.
Qualification: - BS in Mechanical Engineering - CAD skills using Solidwork - ACAD, or ProEngineer is a plus- Proficiency with MS Office tools - Hands-on capabilities/willingness to work with floor employeesDuties: - Produce mechanical fabrication drawings for in house manufacturing as well as sub vendor outsourcing- Manage customer orders from design thru manufacturing to ensure equipment functions & interfaces properly- Specify components such as motors, heaters, and blowers to meet functionality requirements of finished equipment- Review equipment designs for cost & manufacturability to help meet targeted GP levels- Develop customer, vendor, and in-house manufacturing documentation as necessary Required Skills: Designer - SolidWorks, MECHANICAL ENGINEER, design, solidworks, autocad, pro eJoin Aerotek CESM, one of the leading providers of engineering and engineering support professionals in North America.
