Meat Director Job in Forrest City 72335, Arkansas US
This position is responsible for the procurement and sales to Chain and Independent customers in a 5 state trade area to ensure long term growth and profitability.
This is accomplished by building long term relations with customers and suppliers which enhances market share, and builds sales.
Additional accountabilities include; tracking customer concentration, market analysis, gross margin management, telemarketing sales.
ExperienceMust have 5+ years experience working in a wholesale procurement environment with Chains and Independents.
Must have a working knowledge of; Retail Operations experience to achieve retail sales and gross profits through sale items, mix and shelf space utilization and customer demographics.
Must be knowledgeable in Food safety/QA best practices.
Must have excellent people skills, be detail oriented, strong organizational skills, a strong track record of achievement.
