Please visit us at www.flowdesign.com MARKETING MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW: The Marketing Manager will be in charge of all nationwide marketing efforts for Flow Designs Hydronic Training College.
This will be an opportunity to establish a US marketing program modeled after our highly successful European Hydronic Training College marketing program.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish nationwide marketing program to promote Flow Designs Hydronic Training College to current and potential clients.
This program will be based on and modeled after our European marketing program efforts.
Conduct extensive market research to determine marketing plan execution using internal and external sources.
Coordinate, plan, research, organize and execute nationwide training classes.
Convert existing international training curriculum to applicable US training curriculum for Flow Design Hydronic Training College.
Meet initial and ongoing marketing metrics for training sessions as determined by management.
Work closely with sales, engineering, and management to execute and continually improve marketing efforts for training events.
Provide detailed statistical reports to management on a quarterly basis (or as needed) to track sales activity and key performance indicators in relation to marketing program.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: A high level of organization and attention to detail is required to master this positionAbility to multi-task and coordinate multiple details, people, and events simultaneously is a must.
Ability to travel extensively is necessary: up to 60% travel will be required.
Most travel will be US/Domestic, with occasional international travel to Europe (up to once per quarter initiallyless international travel once program is established).
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products including Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.Marketing research skills, experience, contacts and knowledge required.
Experience planning events on a nationwide basis is a plusExperience planning and organizing events, conferences, seminars, trainings, or similar in support of marketing initiatives.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in Marketing (or Communications, Public Relations, or similar)5 years of applicable marketing experience in a corporate/business environmentEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE DESIRED: Masters Degree in Marketing or MBAExperience with HVAC industry, manufacturing or engineering is a plus
