Marketing Executive - Commercial Insurance Job in worcester 01608, Massachusetts US

A general independent insurance agency with a broad range of Commercial, Personal, Life, and Health products.
www.imaagency.com Summary: Assist the Agency Principals, Producers, and Account Executives in placing new and renewal commerical business.
Coverage to include all lines of insurance.
Coordinate and determine market choices for new business and renewals requiring replacement from current markets.
Evaluate risk and insure placement of business with appropriate carriers.
Responsibilities: Marketing - New businessUnderstand and execute the marketing processProvide proposals on new business when necessary or as required by each ProducerComplete applications accurately and timely for submission to carriers Re-marketing Review monthly expiration lists with Producers and key management to determine accounts in need of a remarket Review submission material and report any coverage gaps to Producer and Account Executive Follow up on remarkets to insure timely handling Complete online ratings on insurance carrier websites Review all quotes for accuracy Customer Service-Document all marketing activity including declinations and additional information required by carriers Participate in carrier meetings to keep current on insurance offerings and programs Analyze market changes and identify how they impact IMA accounts.
Coordinate with associates and follow up on all appropriate documents including instructions to underwriters, mortgagees, loss payees, internal agency departments, accounting and Producers.
Assure timely follow up on binders until policy is received.
Required Skills: 5-7 years' insurance agency or company experience Knowledge of rating programs Proficient in (AMS) system Proficient in Internet use Proficient with Microsoft Office ( Workd, Excel, Outlook) Excellent written, oral and analytical skills Proven customer service skills Must be well organized, a self starter and able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
