Marketing Analyst & Project Coordinator Job in Hopkinton, Massachusetts US
Job Description This is an opportunity for a marketing professional to get in early on a small, well-funded start-up team within a Fortune 500 technology company that is the world leader in its core markets.
Summary In partnership with the Sales Compliance organization and with Product and Marketing teams across business units, the Marketing Analyst of Licensing Programs will be responsible for helping to drive the successful execution of revenue-generating Field programs built around Licensing & Compliance.
In addition, this person will coordinate programs aimed at enabling key software products with electronic licensing capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities Communicate the “revenue event generating” impact of e-licensing instrumentation and prepare sales teams to leverage these events to drive business Provide vital day-to-day project management support to e-licensing instrumentation initiatives Create collateral and training materials to enable sales teams to communicate to customers the asset management enablement roadmap across the company's portfolio Help drive campaigns around the launch of newly electronically licensed software products, customer purchase incentives (e.
g., try & buy, up-sell, cross-sell programs), compliance reviews, and other licensing-related opportunities Enable sales teams to guide customers through transitions from non-electronically licensed products to electronically licensed versions Analyze other vendors and secondary analyst research to help the Licensing & Compliance organization develop an understanding of industry best practices Promote standardization of common licensing policies across the business through participation in key cross-functional product and marketing bodies (BMTs, PMTs, GMRT, PAB, etc.) Skills & Experience Top academic performer from a respected business school (MBA preferred) 1-3 years of work experience in a marketing and/or business analysis role Ability to create training material and craft customer-facing collateral Project management skills – planning, scheduling, communicating, follow-up Ability to work in a matrix environment and juggle multiple competing priorities Creative and independent approach to solving business problems Technical training and/or experience (e.
