Market Research Project Director Job in Waltham 02451, Massachusetts US
Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (www.ams-inc.com) is a leading-edge market research and consulting firm conveniently located just off Rte. 128 in Waltham, Massachusetts.
We specialize in providing Voice of the Customer (VOC) information in two distinct practice areas; for product and service development and for litigation, where understanding consumer behavior and marketing issues are strategic to a case.
For product and service development we help our clients understand customer wants and needs and use this information to guide research and decisions related to product/service definition, concept development, and design and engineering.
We also provide training in VOC best practice and process.
For litigation support, we provide market research and consulting to enable expert witness testimony on a broad range of consumer behavior and marketing issues relating to litigation matters such as customer confusion, false advertising, market definition, and class certification matters.
The OpportunityAMS is currently looking at candidates for Project Director (PD) and Senior Project Director (Sr.
PD).
All Project Directors at AMS lead teams to design, execute, analyze and deliver primary research relating to a broad range of topics and industries.
A Senior Project Director, as distinguished from a Project Director, has the ability to fully leverage Account Managers by virtue of their client facing skills, their high level of proficiency, and the ability to work independently at all stages for the research process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Research design (both qualitative and quantitative)· Development of data collection materials and protocols· Supervision of Research Analysts on projects· Analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data· Preparation and delivery of research results to corporate clients, attorneys and academic experts Proven AMS Success Factors include, but are not limited to: · Ability to thrive in a small entrepreneurial team environment· An interest in, and aptitude for, strategic thinking and solving business problems.
· Excellent writing, interpersonal and presentation skills· Excellent organizational and time management abilities · Demonstrated ability to multi-task Required Experience/Skills: · 3 to 5 years (PD) and 5 to 7 (Sr.
