Manager Securities Data Management & Solution Design downtown Chicago Job in Chicago 60606, Illinois US
Manager of Securities & Data Management Solution DesignDowntown Chicago $100-$110K plus 15% bonus We need a great people & project manager of 5-10 business analysts for impacting our securities operations and securities data management.
This impacts the departments which determine securities valuations, reference data and reconciliations functions.
Lead the performance management process, assess development needs, and establishes performance standards.
Participate in developing the strategic plan and budget management process.
Establish objectives and consult with other teams to determine ways to meet the needs.
Work closely with securities market data and technology providers (Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg).
Provide high level of technical expertise and lead teams to implement solutions.
Engage with clients and partners across the enterprise to resolve issues as quickly.
Lead projects and staff on implementationKeep staff informed on department, global practice as well as enterprise wide information.
Escalate issues which may have a significant impact on solution delivery to the appropriate sense of urgency.
Present arguments and requests in a persuasive, convincing and thorough manner.
Lead teams in designing solutions that are pragmatic to meet the business need in conjunction with our IT department and our end users.
Ensure the most efficient implementation of technology in order to achieve improvements and meet expected benefits.
RequirementsExpertise in: · Managing Projects and People (Business Process Analysts level),· Providing solutions in IT and process re-engineering for securities data, valuations and operations.
