Job Description The Manager of Common Services Quality Assurance is responsible for leading the enterprise strategy for Quality Assurance in systems and software development for Manheim.

Additionally, this role will be directly responsible for a team of 6 internal QA analysts that perform both manual and automated functional and performance testing.

This role is also responsible for managing the enterprise testing environments, ensuring that the appropriate systems are available for use by portfolio teams.

The Manager of Common Services QA will also provide Manheim QA orientation and on-boarding support for efforts that are implemented by professional services firms engaged by Manheim for total solution deliveries.

Responsibilities ‚¿ Manage a team of 6+ quality assurance analysts & engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and leadership.

‚¿ Monitor QA progress/status and communicate the project risk to stakeholders in a timely manner.

‚¿ Collect and analyze quality data and seek ways to continuously improve the quality of our products and services.

‚¿ Work with Product Management, Engineering and Development to ensure testing activities are fully integrated into the overall product development lifecycle.

‚¿ Lead in the development, execution and maintenance of manual tests, automated test scripts using HP QuickTest Professional and HP Service Test, and performance testing scripts using HP LoadRunner.

‚¿ Remains solutions-focused when problems arise; deals calmly and effectively when programs do not work.

‚¿ Looks at projects from an end-user perspective in order to test and address all possible situations and problematic circumstances.

‚¿ Contributes and authors QA deliverables in the Manheim SDLC including test plans, sizing estimates, resource plans, project schedules, and work breakdown structures.

‚¿ Remains abreast of changes and innovations in technological advances with the QA suite of tools.

‚¿ Understands the impact of decisions on the business.

‚¿ Creates a team mindset with all project members, business owners, and customers to work towards shared goals.

‚¿ Remains reliable in fulfilling obligations and contractual agreements.

Qualifications BS Degree in computer science, information systems,or related area, or equivalent work experience10+ years experience working in a formalized QA environment, with 5 years of QA team leadership.

Strong communication and problem solving skillsrequired.

Must be able to work in a flexible, fast changing matrix environment.

Ability to think analytically, make decisions, and continuously improve and innovate.

Candidates must also have functional and technical expertise, have consistency and quality in their work, and work well in teams.

Must be able to multi-task and process changing priorities quickly.
