Job Summary: Coordinates train loading schedules with customers to match vessel loadings, managing reservations and permits within ShipCSX, and expediting loaded and empty unit trains with the Baltimore Division and Terminal to match operational requirements of the Curtis Bay Coal Terminal.

Prepares daily communications regarding appropriate performance metrics.

Maximizes the number of tons of coal transitioning through Curtis Bay Coal Pier.

Coordinates with local transportation, coal operations, Baltimore service lane, MGA International Logistics and A&O Logistics Train Coordinator, external customer vessel coordinators, local harbor master daily.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Manage the association of train reservations to specific vessels and/or inventory stations.

Manage the order and priority of trains to load and move to Curtis Bay Coal terminal while monitoring the train flows to and from Consol CNX Marine Terminals, Inc. coal pier (also in Baltimore).

Manage the inventory at Curtis Bay Coal piers while maximizing tons loaded in vessels and barges and minimizing the delay / demurrage time of the vessel.

Coordinate with the following entities: Curtis Bay yard Terminal Manager for placement of loaded trains and pulling of empty trains, with the MGA International Logistics and Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) Train Coordinator for loading and line up order of loaded trains, with the Baltimore Service Lane for the movement of both loaded and empty coal trains, and with the Harbor Master for vessel and barge schedules and inter-pier moves (if needed).

Coordinate and manage the living reports and documents to support all aspects of the process.

Manage and coordinate the reverse process during the iron ore season of each year.

Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Willing and able to work different shifts as assigned in a 24 hour/7 days a week operation (including working weekends and holidays).
