Manager, Tax Job in Chesterfield 63005, Missouri US

Do your part in the this exciting role: As Tax manager responsibilities will include preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions and tax account reconciliations, reviewing federal and state income tax returns and state franchise tax returns, and managing state and federal tax audits, as necessary, and prepare responses to requests for information from outside taxing authorities.
In this role, you will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly/quarterly tax accruals for all entities, assisting in the preparation/review of property and sales and use tax returns and assisting the Director of Tax with analysis concerning tax planning opportunities.
This role will also be responsible for completing special projects as assigned with respect to acquisitions, new ventures, sales, new products, etc.The successful candidate will have a BS/BA with concentration in accounting and 5+ years of experience in tax department of a public accounting firm and/or industry.
A CPA and MA in Taxation is preferred.
This individual should have extensive experience with accounting for income taxes under FAS 109,the ability to perform research, analysis and provide recommendations to tax policies and procedures.
Familiarity with tax research products, e.
g., RIA, CCH or BNA, and a good overall accounting knowledge.
