Manager/ Sr. Manager, Market Research Job in Cambridge 02142, Massachusetts US
Description: Leads development and tacticalexecution of US and EU market research plans and competitive intelligenceefforts in support of company and brand objectives.
Acts as liaison withinternal and external partners to lead and guide brand tactics.
Supports andparticipates in large commercial projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities: Develop and manage global tracking studies to measure the projected performance AVEO compoundsTrack worldwide market dynamics of targeted oncology tumor-specific marketplaces using primary and secondary data sourcesContribute to new brand positioning and branding efforts by conducting messaging research, conjoint analyses, concept and sales materials testingPerform market assessments to determine prioritization of potential new indications for AVEO compoundsEvaluate and recommend new secondary data sources and primary research vendorsManaging timelines between marketing agencies and internal support areas to ensure timely completion of marketing tacticsUpdate and maintain budget responsibility for key marketing activitiesLead the marketplace insights contributions of the brand planning processGain proper alignment with clinical development and translational researchContribute to the development of presentation materials to Senior Management Qualifications& Requirements: Bachelors degree required; MBA preferredMinimum 5 plus years commercial health care / prior market research experienceSolid understanding of key marketing principles Ability to manage external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis and ability to manage budgets Understand process in obtaining approval for promotional pieces materials through the medical, regulatory and legal promotional review processExcellent planning, analysis, project and budget management skills, with experience managing multiple projects against a timelineStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and manage cross-functional teamsDemonstrates understanding of Pharma/Biotech commercial productsDetail oriented, strong quantitative and analytical ability Ability to understand and communicate highly scientific and technical medical information Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence, and negotiation skillsDemonstrated business acumenAbility to travel up to 25% Please forward resumes to hr [at] aveopharma [dot] com AVEO is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
