Manager, Human Resources Job in Chicago 60632, Illinois US
Manager, Human Resources One of the nations leading housewares manufacturers is looking for a Manager, Human Resources for its Chicago manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities include recruitment, policy administration, labor relations, safety and training for a 300 associate union facility.
This position reports to the VP, Human Resources and provides daily support to the plant management staff.
The Manager, HR will recruit all hourly and salary positions for manufacturing, will coordinate the safety program including OSHA compliance and workers compensation and oversee the local administration of group insurance.
Must interact closely with production management to resolve conflicts, provide adequate staffing and provide advice on a broad range of employment issues.
This position will assist in a variety of corporate wide areas including policy development, compensation, and special projects.
Successful candidates must be resourceful and creative with proven background in similar manufacturing environment.
Experience with ADP Payexpert and HRB a plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in HR with degree and bilingual in Spanish.
