Manager- Fitness Partnerships Job Job in Chicago, Illinois US
DescriptionPosition Summary: The Manager, Fitness Partnerships will craft the overall sports marketing strategy and build the foundation to support the brand's Fitness platform.
This individual will be charged with identifying and procuring the optimal portfolio of athlete, influencer and property relationships to support and activate the Fitness platform.
Major Responsibilities: - Create the blueprint for devleoping and leveraging property, athlete and influencer relationships ithat are representative of true innovation partnerships.
This will be achieved by working in tandem to identify the athlete need and then developing game changing innovation to drive leadership in the areas of sports nutrition and hydration.
- Accountable for procuring key property acquisition targets, managing the key relationships at these properties and fully leveraging the rights and assets received via these partership affiliations to drive awareness, scientific understanding and usage of our product portfolio among the fitness athlete target, while also creating and executing programming that achieves the brand's retail objectives.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred- 7-10 years of experience working in a marketing capacity within the fitness landscape- Intimate knowledge of the Fitness Athlete Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships, build consensus and influence business partners- Self starter with ability to work independently - high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit- Excellent multi-tasking, project management and prioritization skills- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills- Creative skills, ability to problem solve and seek alternative solutions to job tasks; generate fresh ideas- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Ability to travel up to 30%
