Manager, Accounting I Job Job in Chicago, Illinois US
DescriptionThe position is accountable for the following: - Coordination of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for the Controller's group- Coordination of payroll issues with vendor (Hewitt)- Supervision of Tropicana DSD team and management of relationship with Tropicana and Frito- Compensation-related accounting including payroll, 401k, deferred compensation, severance, relocation and restructurings- Management of fringe benefit budget, analysis and accounting- Barter credit accounting- Cash accounting including bank reconciliations, intercompany transfers and miscellaneous cash receipts- Management of facilities budget, analysis, and accounting- Special projects (As Necessary)- Manage team responsible for DSD reporting, cash accounting, fringe benefit reporting & analysis, management of facility budget/analysis, compensation related accounting,coordination of SOX compliance, and coordination of payroll issues with vendor (Hewitt)Requirements: - 8 years accounting experience, 5-7 years supervisory experience- 4 year degree- Superior analytical skills- Solid problem solving capabilities- Excellent coaching & teaching skills, working knowledge of SAP- Ability to adapt quickly to ever changing environment- Superior communication skills
