So just imagine where we can take you! The Providence, RI office seeks a highly motivated individual for a Maintenance Supervisor position.
Responsibilities will include supervising and developing mechanics who perform elevator maintenance and repair within assigned geography.
The successful candidate will: - Manage field safety as it applies to his/her direct reports - Meet regularly with customers and address their needs - Efficiently schedule labor resources - Manage an operating budget for material - Support the sale of equipment upgrades - Identify and drive efficiency improvements in our maintenance and repair operations - Conduct frequent elevator equipment audits - Function effectively as a member of a team High school degree or equivalent.
At least 5 years of elevator field experience or field supervisory experience.
Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise and lead the performance of field operations for maintenance and repair.
Areas of responsibility include field education, quality assurance for both Otis and assigned customers, route control and scheduling, improving efficiencies, safety, callback reduction, technical support, and the expenditure of labor, materials and other assets.
Candidates must be self-motivated with strong leadership, organizational, communication and time management skills.
Candidates who do not possess elevator field experience must have a documented track record of producing exceptional results in a related management capacity.
In addition to the above, candidates must be fully proficient in all Windows Office applications.
