Machine Operator/Maintenance Technician Job in Lawrence 01843, Massachusetts US
JOB Responsibilities Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Operate and observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products to standardsAdjust machine components according to processing requirements.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, troubleshoot smaller machine issues and report major issues to supervisor.
Count and record finished and rejected packaged items.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentMechanical troubleshooting skills as well as maintenance skills neededMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceMust be able to lift 50 pounds.
