MS Reference Data – Directory Engineer Job in New York 10036, New York US

Activities the candidate will be responsible for:
Development and deployment of identity data management systems (database design & implementation)
Requirement gathering, design, code development, testing, deployment of the product
Develop scripts to automate administration and management of the environment
3rd level production support and enhancement of developed product
Product documentationSkills Required: Technical Skills
Strong LDAP Administration skills in SunOne Directory Server
Strong Meta-Directory administration experience
Strong programming skills in PERL
Strong UNIX administration background
Experience in designing Highly Available systems
Understanding of TCP/IP and client/server architecturePersonal/Professional Skills
At least 5 years of professional work experience
Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
Structured, organized approach to project and able to set and meet delivery date
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Understand and carried through full production cycle of a product including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support.
Able to work in a fast changing environment and working under pressureSkills Desired: Technical Skills
Experience in Critical Path Join Engine product
Virtual Directory implementation experience
C, C++
Understanding Microsoft Active DirectoryPersonal/Professional Skills
Work experience in a financial Institutional environment.
